TV presenter and comedian Alan Carr is to present an app for Channel 4's new game show The Singer Takes It All, where users can vote on videos to choose which singers get sent to the live shows.

When the show, presented by Carr, is launched in August, viewers will also be able to vote via the app, rating performances as a 'hit' or a 'miss'. Carr commented 'This app makes people at home the judge and jury, and I love that aspect of it. The viewers get to decide whether the singer wins or disappears backwards through the flaps to a life of misery'.
